Professional Experience
  • Change and Training Manager in British multi-national company, partnering with the Asia project team in building and rolling out a common ERP (enterprise resource planning) system. Her focus was on doing a readiness assessment and impact of change analysis as well as identifying and implementing change, communication and training plans for South Asia, North Asia and Australasia.
  • Competency Development Manager in a global IT company and was tasked with operationalising a set of core competencies for an Asia Pacific group. She developed a web-based multi-rater evaluation survey and an online development planning tool as well as a series of learning and development activities. She was also part of the Business Process Group that was responsible for planning and implementing new processes and systems for the Support Services division of Asia Pacific.
  • Human Resource Development manager for a multi-national organisation with responsibility for the entire HRD and training processes. These include conducting needs analyses, designing training roadmaps and career paths, overseeing management development and skills training programmes as well as integrating competencies into the work cycle.
  • She started her career as a lecturer and subject leader at a local polytechnic.
  • From 1999 to 2002, Jackie also served as a Singapore Quality Assessor for SPRING Singapore, and has assessed three award-winning companies. In 2002, she led the assessment team.

  • Master’s degrees in Organisational Behaviour and Analysis (Lancaster University, UK, 1994) as well as in Adult Education (Oregon State University, USA, 1985)
